Jacket

Probably the most important thing, you don’t want to be cold up on the slopes. Pack a good jacket, because you want to be prepared for all types of weather!

Underlayer

Depending on when you go, you want to always be warm. Pack some long johns to layer under your coat. It’s better to be warmer than colder I always say!

Gloves

You always want to keep your hands warm. Gloves are a really easy thing to forget to bring. Make sure that you pack your gloves in a place that you know you won’t forget them!

Skis/Snowboards

If you own your own equipment, don’t forget to take it. It may sound like a no brainer, but it happens.

Ski/Snowboard boots

Crucial for you to get on the slopes. Don’t forget these!

Sunglasses

For when it is sunny on the slopes?which it is almost everyday?these are a great thing to bring.

Lip balm

With the cold, your lips will get chapped. Bring lip balm for protection.

Phone/camera

To capture all of the memorable moments, bring your phone/camera. Your phone is also important if you get lost.

Hat

You want to keep your head warm!

Ski pass/credit card

Especially if you purchase ski passes before you go up to the slopes, you don’t want to run the risk of forgetting them.

Sweatpants and hoodie

Bring comfortable clothes to change in after your ski.

Money

Always carry cash on you. You never know when you will have to use it.

Snacks

It’s easy to get really hungry on the slopes (and the food that is sold on the slopes is pretty expensive) bring your own snacks to fight the hunger!

Water

Surprisingly enough, you lose a lot of water when you ski. You don’t think that you sweat, but you do. Make sure that you keep yourself hydrated!

Boots

When you aren’t skiing or snowboarding, it’s important that you have other footwear to keep your little toes warm.

After you know that you have all of these things, double check. You don’t want to forget something when you are going up to the slopes! Ski trips can be the most fun of trips, but they also require that you lots of things to be able to ski. You just have to make sure that you have everything. Once you do, you can enjoy the beauty of the slopes?whether you ski or snowboard.
