Bucket List: The World’s Most Beautiful Beach Destinations

As self-confessed blogging beach bum, with a love of the smell of fresh sea air, the laissez-faire beach lifestyle, and the amazing freshly caught seafood, there’s nothing more important to me than ticking places off my beach bucket list. Here are some of the most desirable beach locations on the planet.

So if you’re a beach fanatic like me, pack your favourite bikini (or swimming trunks) and get set, go…

  • Grace Bay, Providenciales

In the North West of Caicos Island, Grace Bay is an unbelievable beach location. Named as one of TripAdvisor’s Top 25 Traveller’s Choice Beaches, it’s truly a tried and tested gem. With the velvety feeling of powder-soft sand under your feet, the view of bright Azure blue and turquoise waters and postcard landscapes, you’ll think you’ve reached paradise on earth.

  • Playa Norte, Mexico

With 10,000km of amazing coastline, it’s no wonder that one of Mexico’s beaches has popped up on this list. If you’re looking for talcum powder sands and warm waters, visit the striking yet accessible Playa Norte. And if you’re lucky, you might even catch sight of a humpback whale in the water. Visit Lets Go 2 to find out more about holidays to Mexico.

  • Cayo Largo, Cuba

If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat away from the rest of the world, there’s nothing quite like the tranquil Paraiso resort of Cayo Largo beach. The landscapes are astonishing. Enjoy the warm, shallow water and its bright white sands.

  • The Baths, British Virgin Islands

Another all year round beach, The Baths is simply stunning in every way. It’s also a wonderful holiday location for snorkelling, scuba diving and many other water sports. Adrenaline junkies and water babies will find a world of exploration here. (Watch this snorkelling video to see just how beautiful the island looks from the water).
