Great Places to Mix Fun and Education

The trend of taking a gap year either before starting university or before entering a life of full-time employment is becoming increasingly common and it is easy to see why. From the moment that a young person enters the full-time workplace it can be very difficult to travel the world and take years out at a time to see and experience places.

Many people get to retirement without ever having seen and experienced the places in the world that they would have loved to. Taking a gap year at a young age gives each student the chance to experience life and create unforgettable memories before having to take life too seriously!

However, taking a gap year is not solely about having fun and enjoying life for a year. A gap year also provides the unique opportunity to learn and be taught about different cultures, languages, people and countries. A gap year can be used to do something amazing such as helping children, people, animals and wildlife.

Before embarking on a gap year however it is wise to research the many different countries of the world in order to find the country best suited to the needs and desires of the gap year student. So many different countries have so many different things to offer so it is important to travel to the right part of the world for the ultimate gap year experience and the perfect mix of fun and education. With this in mind, it is easy to see why many people opt for either an Australian gap year experience or a gap year holiday in Argentina. Both of these countries offer an ideal mix of fun, sun and education and have many different gap year programmes to take part in.

Gap year holidays in Australia can easily combine fun with an education. What more could a young person want than sun, sand, miles of beautiful beaches and great night life opportunities in order to have fun? Moreover there are many gap year programmes to take advantage of – one of the main such programmes being sports programmes.

Sports programmes are popular in this country and as such a wide variety of sports are catered for including hockey, netball, tennis, swimming, football, rugby and water polo. Student gap years in Australia also have many programmes available devoted to helping wildlife, such as conservation projects, koala protection initiatives, kangaroo protection voluntary programmes and many other schemes involving wildlife and animals.

Argentinean gap years too are very popular, especially with sports initiatives. Argentina is a country that loves sports and as such offers many programmes that give students the opportunity to learn a skill whilst having an unforgettable experience in a memorable country. Argentina is also home to Patagonia – a large wilderness that provides the ideal opportunity for all those interested in exploring all that nature has to offer including stunning lakes, mountains and volcanoes!

It is easy to see why student gap years in Australia and Argentinean gap years are very popular with many students – the perfect combination of fun, passion, culture and education makes for an unforgettable gap year experience that no student will ever forget!
