5 Must See Spots That Your Standard Airline Can’t Fly To

Must see tourist attractions are not always accessible by the standard airlines.  This makes it necessary to use the services of specialty airlines, but as they say, getting there can be half the fun.

If you are a golf aficionado, then Bandon Dunes might just be the spot for you. Boasting three golf courses, Bandon Dunes is strategically situated on the Oregon coast. What with the links style golf, challenging designs and the most beautiful of vistas, this spot is one that has continued to garner more interest with each passing year.  The golf course is edged by the Pacific Ocean and miles of untouched dunes.  If your game is on the rusty side, Bandon Dunes provides a 32 acre practice center and a one-acre practice putting green to help you prepare for the rare challenge of a true links course.

If you prefer the mountains, Rock Creek is the place to be.  Rock Creek is a working cattle ranch that measures approximately 80,000 acres.  You’ll find the ranch in the heart of Montana.  The Flint Creek Mountain Range dominates here, but is given a run for its money by the world class Tom Doak golf course.  After a day of golf and sightseeing, sit back and relax at the Rock Creek Cattlemen’s Club.

Mackinac Island, MI is located at Lake Huron and wedged between the Michigan State Upper and Lower Peninsulas. This island is mainly known for the Grand Hotel, a full service resort that was officially opened in 1887 but became popular in 1980 after the film, “Somewhere in Time”, was shot and filmed at the hotel. One unique thing about this island is that their means of transportation is by horse drawn carriage and bicycle. The use of cars is prohibited. As a tourist, you can go for a carriage tour or pay for guided walking tours both in the daytime and at night.

Bermuda Dunes is situated within the Coachella Valley desert region. What makes this spot unique is the fact that is sheltered by towering mountains with the San Bernardino Mountains in the north axis, the Santa Rosa Mountains in the south axis, the Little San Bernardino Mountains in the east and the San Jacinto Mountains within the west. The Bermuda Dunes is really a beauty to behold.

Finally on the list of five must see spots is Ocean Reef, Florida which is strategically located in Key Largo, an island found right in the confines of the upper Florida Keys archipelago. Key Largo is known for its clear water and beauty.  While here, snorkeling is a must and diving is available for the guest that feels a bit more adventurous.  After a day on the water, sit back and enjoy the view and the early evening tropical breezes, and don’t forget to have a piece of Key Lime Pie.

For travelers with a taste for unique hot spots listed above, consider a jet leasing program, fractional jet ownership, or 15 and 25 hour jet card programs. Fractional ownership provides all of the advantages of owning your own private aircraft without the hassle and maintenance.  [/box]
