What to Do in Gold Coast in 24 Hours

Sometimes you don’t have the time to visit a city properly; no matter how much the city had to offer in terms of its cultural or natural spectacles.

So in case of a city like a tourist favorite Gold Coast, it can be really disappointing if you can’t make the time to discover all of its sights and activities properly.

Still, if you only have one day, there are things you should definitely see to at least get a little understanding of what it’s made of.

Firstly, you should visit the world-famous Q1, which stands for Queensland Number One. This residential tower is known for being the highest one in the world for a long time, and although it now is number five on the list, it’s still a site well-worth seeing.

It’s also the biggest and only observation deck available on the beach in the entire Australia. Just gaze at the amazing lengthy coastline, which goes for as far as your eye can see.

It’s best to visit it during the day, although many like to come during storms and watch the lightning strike the 100 meter spire.

Another thing you should put on your to-do list while in the Gold Coast is to take advantage of its many extreme sport activities – you can go 4WD drives, surfing, bungee jumping, scuba diving, jet-skiing and even rally car racing.

This is a place where no thrill seeker will be left disappointed – you can find all kinds of activities that will get your blood pumping, and then some.

When you’re done with the more extreme stuff, why not relax in one of many great SPA Centers, of which there are plenty – after all, what could be better than to immerse yourself in total relaxation after wreaking havoc in the sea?

Take a mud bath, have a massage, or just dip into a jacuzzi and just enjoy yourself – after all, you’re only here for a day, so you might as well enjoy it.

This is a perfect way to rejuvenate you and prepare for the second part of the day.

After relaxing at the SPA, find a place to eat at – and at the Gold Coast, there are plenty of places to choose from. You can go to the Salt Bar&Grill, located within the Hilton Surfers Paradise; it’s becoming a hit within the Gold Coast community and the city guests.  The steaks are mouthwatering and will be exactly what you need after the day you had.

In the evening, if you’re still up for some more of what Gold Coast has to offer, simply head to the pier and find a cruise to enjoy the beautiful skyline from the sea, as you sip a cold drink.

It really doesn’t get better than that, and after a day like this, you’ll surely be waiting for the next time you have a chance to come back to Gold Coast – and probably will want to stay for much longer.
